Family-Placed Funeral Notice

FREDERICK V. PAINE, JR. 78 of Jupiter, FL died Tuesday, Oct. 26 at his home. He was a native of Pittsburgh, PA and had been a resident of Jupiter for the past 16 years coming from Wheaton, IL. He was a graduate of Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA. He served during WWII in the US Navy. He was Executive Vice President of Nalco Chemical Co. in Oakbrook, IL for 33 years and retired as President of the International Division. He was a member of the Seminole Golf Club of Juno Beach, FL, the Pine Valley Golf Club of Clementon, NJ, the Rolling Rock Club of Ligonier, PA, the Oakmount Country Club of Oakmount, PA, the Chicago Golf Club and was the PA State Amateur Champion in 1955 and twice runner up. Survivors include his wife Barbara Paine of Jupiter, FL, 3 sons Frederick C. Paine of Annapolis, MD, Timothy J. Paine of Salt Lake City, Utah and Scott S. Paine of Salt Lake City, Utah, a sister Sally Perkert of Poughkeepsie, NY, 1 grandson and 4 granddaughters. Charitable contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 9900 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St., St. Petersburg, FL 33716. Aycock Funeral Home, Jupiter, FL is in charge of arrangements. Fred was a strong Leader, a great Manager, with a unique sense of humor, love for life and fun to work for. Above all, he was a people's person, who truly cared for his employees. May God rest his soul in peace and give Barbara and his family strength and comfort.
