GRADY BERNARD HAYES Was born on December 19, 1956 in West Palm Beach, FL to Grace Hayes White and the late Robert Allen Hayes. A graduate of Suncoast High School, he attended North Technical Institute and received an Associate Degree in Maintenance Engineering. He later attended Florida Memorial College in Miami, FL. He also served in the U.S. Navy for four years as a barber. He was employed with Pratt-Whitney for 23 years. He leaves to mourn, his devoted wife, Loretta Archer Hayes of Riviera Beach; four loving children: Monique, Leah, Robert, and Tyson, all of Riviera Beach, FL; one granddaughter, Aniya; mother, Grace Hayes White; stepfather, Sylvester White; one brother, Barry A. Hayes of WPB; and three sisters: Barbara (Gayle), Turner (Robert) of Riviera Beach, and Bettina H. Walton (Kenneth) of McDonough, GA. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 PM Friday, January 2 at Royal Palm Funeral Home, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, WPB. A funeral service will be held at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2006 AE Isaacs Avenue, WPB, FL. I am truly sorry to hear of my friend, Grady's passing. He has been a friend of mine for the past seven years that I have worked with him at Pratt & Whitney. He never failed to take a few minutes to stop & talk whenever he saw me, even though we didn't work in the same department. I will miss seeing him, but I will think of him often. I am deeply saddened to have heard of Grady's passing. He was one of my favorite customers at Walgreen's Pharmacy ever! I'll truly miss our many conversations we've had over the years (fishing, music, people, work, you name it...) It didn't take but a second the moment you talked to Grady that he was a truly generous man. My condolances to his wife and children (of which were also part of our numerous conversations...he LOVED you all so much)

I'll also miss running into Grady at thrift stores which seemed to always happen!
