MILBY, Helen Marie

Helen Marie Milby, 90, of Palm Beach Gardens, passed away January 11, 2015. Helen was born November 23, 1924, in Providence, Rhode Island, a daughter of Francis Raymond Flynn and Rena Mary (Chappron) Flynn, of that city. She was a resident of North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens since 1965, after she and her family had lived in eight states while following her husband's career in Field Engineering. Helen was also a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Clare since moving here. She is survived her husband of 66 years, Robert Evans Milby; daughters, Linda Marie (Samuel Anthony) Whatley of Longwood, Fl., and Mary Lucinda "Cindi" Denoncour of Palm Beach Gardens; two grandchildren, Alyson Whatley of Sanford, Fl., and Claire (Ashleigh) Smith of Tallahassee, Fl.; and her three great-grandchildren, Elliot, Isaac, and Dakota. Helen was predeceased by her sister, Frances Irma Flynn Allman. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at St. Clare Catholic Church, North Palm Beach, with Rev. William D. O' Shea presiding. Committal services and burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Palm Beach or, The Muscular Dystrophy Association. Sending Love,Thoughts & Prayers to Aunt Helen's Family. I will always remember the time Helen and Bob come to visit us in Anderson In. I didn't know her well, ( wished I did) but she was a loving,funny, Aunt. I will miss her, and those responses to my Christmas cards,..I would say,.Irma's daughter! And she would say back LOL,..I loved her so,..Bob, please know we all love you as well. Love, Brenda Allman Holland
