James Keleher Obituary

Family-Placed Obituary

JAMES E. KELEHER Age 77, of Boynton Beach, Florida, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 5, 2008. James is survived by his wife, Vondale, and his seven loving children: Michael James, Jamie Rene, Patrick John, David Peter, Robin Jean, James Warren and Christi Ann. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren: Yorgos, David, Joshua, Gillian, Jenna, Tessa, Burke, Madison, Colin, Dana, Taylor, Amanda, Ryan, Allison and Connor, and his loving brother, Robert Keleher and his wife, Joyce, as well as his niece, Kim. Jim spent his life serving the Lord and others. He was especially dedicated to Sunshine Acres, a fresh air camp for underprivileged children, where he devoted more than 45 years of his life in service. Jim was a precious father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend to many. Although he will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known him, he is now in the presence of Jesus Christ, the center of his life and all he stood for. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7 at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 3190 Hypoluxo Road, Boynton Beach with Pastor George Marse officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 p.m. until service time. There will be a reception immediately following the funeral service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. To the Keleher Family,
Imagine the celebration in heaven at Jim's home going. All of his and our family and friends greeting him and rejoicing with him around the throne of our precious Savior & Lord.
He was a co-larorer and lover of Sunshine Acres and because of his many hours of hard work Sunshine Acres is what it is today.
Our love and sympathy goes to Vondale and the family. We know he'll be missed by them and all who knew him.
Love

To the Keleher family:

My deepest sympathy is with you today, but we rejoice that Jim is with the Lord. I can only imagine the celebration as he entered heaven. I'd like to think that Lee and Hilda were part of the welcoming committee. I have been priviladged and blessed to know your dad. He was an inspiration and testimony to God's great love.

My prayer's are with you during this difficult time.

Judy

We thank the Lord for the fifty years of friendship with Jim and his family. We have very fond memories of our fellowship with him at Babylon Baptist Church and serving together in the ministry of Sunshine Acres
Camp. We praise the Lord that
Jim is now Home with his precious Savior!
May God comfort the hearts of his dear wife and family.
