Jane DOLAN Obituary
Jane Kearns Dolan died March 16, 2016 in Lighthouse Point, FL with her family around her due to complications from Pneumonia. She was 84. Mrs. Dolan was born on March 31, 1931 in Hudson, NY to her parents, Edward and Pauline Kearns. She graduated from the New York School of Music with a degree in the Preforming Arts in 1951. She married the love of her life Thomas Hannon Dolan in 1953. The Dolans moved to Canandaigua, NY. Thomas worked as a clothing executive and clothing designer, Jane raised seven children then moved to South Florida in 1972. She was dedicated to raising her children and when they were old enough she worked at Boca Raton Resort and Club and then took a position with the USPS where she retired after 27 years. Jane was also an AKC registered breeder of English Bulldogs. Upon her retirement she enjoyed her remaining years spending time with her children enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her church, traveling, movies and collecting antiques. Jane was a faithful parishioner at St. Ambrose Church. Mrs. Dolan inspired wellness and faith, her dedication to others especially the spiritually sick and suffering will never be forgotten. A warm smile and a heart of gold she was loved by all. Mrs. Dolan is survived by her daughters, Jane Dolan, Kathleen Chernak, Bridget Dolan; sons, Thomas and wife, Theresa Dolan and Michael; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sarah, Tyler, Brianna, Jennifer, Michael, James and Tynon; great-grandchildren, Amaya, Elijah and Declyn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; her daughter, Patricia; and her son, Joseph Dolan. Mrs. Dolan's services will be held at St. Ambrose Church on April 2, 2016 along with a burial service at Our Lady Queen of Heaven. Memorial gathering to follow by at the home of Kathleen Chernak. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mrs. Dolan's life. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Susan G. Komen Foundation and or Special Olympics of Florida.

Mom now that you're an angel in heaven. OUR Michael has now Joined all the other Dolan's that had left us all so soon I pray that I can live my life thru memories which are so amazing That I may be a example of someone bless to have known an unconditional love from a Brother who everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him him has a great memory of a guy who just simply loves life I pray that the Serenity that was promised is at last yours Peace & Love Bridget
