Joseph FERGUSON Obituary

Joseph C. Ferguson, 55, of Jupiter, FL passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Edward Ferguson. Joe had the most vibrant personality, quick wit, and brightest smile that could easily light up any room. His passion for the ocean, surfing, fishing, traveling and life itself offered him joy and appreciation in all circumstances. Joe poured his heart into people all around and his love for community was exhibited through his generosity and selflessness. He found happiness, peace and strength through God and his loving family. Joe received numerous awards throughout his career, but his greatest professional achievement was becoming the Vice President of Tylander's Office Solutions. A humble and devoted father, son, brother and friend, Joe is survived by his two greatest joys, his daughter Ashley and his son Colin, his mother Mary, his two sisters Susan and Linda, and his brother-in-law Tom Lang. His friends and family greatly adored his fun-loving, positive and tenacious spirit and he will be greatly missed by all. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Tequesta, FL on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family is grateful for donations to a tribute fund in Joe Ferguson's name to the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org.

We were so sad to her the news about Joe. We raised our kids with the Ferguson's on Summerwood Drive where Joe always came to the block parties with jokes, laughter and a beautiful smile! Joe shared a bond with the neighborhood dads with pranks, fireworks and Miami Dolphins football. He was a great sport! We will miss him terribly.

Sad to hear. In the short time I have known him, his constant smile and upbeat attitude, even in the face of his illness, had a very positive impact on me, and, others.

I'm so saddened by this news. Joe was such a wonderful, fun loving friend to everyone. He was always happy and very quick witted. He had a great outlook on life. I last saw him in Key Largo several years ago and he was telling me about his children. He was so proud of them and loved being a father. May God wrap His loving arms around Joe's family and comfort them with His love and grace until they are all reunited in His heavenly kingdom.

I was always happy to see Joe at the Jupiter Inlet for fishing. We shared many fun days there. He was easy going with a great sense of humor. I enjoyed his company. I will miss him.
