We are planning our reunion and I just found out what happened. I am so shocked and saddened to hear about what happened. I know it has been a super long time but it happened today for me. I'm really sad you're not off living somewhere worrying about bills and what to eat for dinner.

Dearest Carolyn and Mike,
It has been years since we sat on the sidelines and traveled to Mako soccer games together with our daughters. Diana just found out about Katie at Mass this Sunday and wrote to me with the article regarding the accident from the paper. I wish I had known sooner and could have sent some comfort
your way.
I lost my sister unexpectedly and think about her every day. I know it is even more difficult to lose your child and my heart is heavy for you.
We had a lot of fun times together and lots of laughs, thanks to our girls. Cherish those warm memories as much as you can until we meet again in a much better place!
Diana still lives in PSL on SE Ocean Lane as I have moved to Colorado. I hope that she will be in touch with you for she shares in your loss, too. You have been a special family to her.
My prayers for you and for Katie begin today and will continue.

It has been a very difficult year for my family. No one could ever know or understand the pain we feel each and everyday. Katie was the life of our family as she was so full of fun it is so hard to accept that she is no longer with us. I miss her more and more each day. I appreciate all your kind thoughts and words and knowing all her true friends think of her and send us their loving thoughts means a lot to us. Katie has taken my heart with her and she will have it forever and ever until I can hold her in my arms again. She is always with me and my family and we will never ever forget her as her amazing life will live in our memories forever. Katie was one amazing person and did live life to its fullest. I just wish she could have gone on to experience so much more life as there was so much more for her to see and do, she would have loved it. It took me a long time to put any comment on here and I am not sure if I should as it is so hard for me . I hate not having her with us and the thought of not seeing her for years just kills me inside everyday. Katie we love you and miss you so much it hurts to breath somedays. Katie will be truly missed. She was an amazing little girl and my best friend from G.C.E who grew up into a beautiful and smart young woman after PSLHigh. We grew up together and I'll always remember all the birthday parties, school dances and happy times. Mike and Carol you raised an amazing girl, who could make a whole room smile.

I have known Katie about a year and half since I became a sales representative at the Jensen Beach Lowes. She was always happy and always joking around. Katie was full of life and always greeted me with a big smile or hug. What can I say about a girl who was so full of life except I will truly, truly miss her. I'm sure God will keep her in his love and I will keep her in my memory.

From the time that my dad coached us way back when, to middle school stories, all the way to high school and the soccer team. You were always in such high spirits and ready to make people laugh.
