WAGNER, Kurt J.
Former Beverly Hills resident Dr. Kurt Wagner, 81, died May 26, 2015, at his home in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Wagner was born in 1934, in Vienna, Austria, to Sonia and Bernard Wagner. He was preceded in death by wife Barbara and daughter Stacy. He is survived by wife Kathleen, daughter Allison and granddaughter Sofia. Dr. Wagner began his Plastic Surgery practice in Beverly Hills in the late 60's and became a well-known public figure in the field of plastic surgery. He and wife, Kathleen moved to South Florida in 1995 and he continued practicing in Boca Raton. He will be profoundly missed by family and friends across the country.

There are no words to describe what an incredible person, surgeon and human being Kurt Wagner was. I met him through a friend I drove to a doctor appointment. My friend told Dr. Wagner about some badly botched surgery and that I had no insurance and was financially not able to pay for corrective surgery. Dr. Wagner after examing me did several corrective procedures, including all follow-up visits with no cost to me. He was one of the most compassionate caring excellent surgeons that I was very honored to to meet. He and his wife Barbara invited me to many events, but sadly, I lost touch when they relocated to Florida. It has been many years, but I think of Kurt often. I owe my very life and health to this wonderful man.

I'm just reading this now. I'm so sorry for your loss. My parents were good friends with Kurt and I worked in his Beverly Hills office in the early 70s.

I (and my brother and my mom) remember my father's good friend well. We wish Kathy and family our most sincere condolences on your loss. Kurt's love of life was infectious, and he truly was larger than life. He will be much missed; we will carry him in our hearts.
