Wendy, Rick and Mark,
I recently learned of the passing of the PooBah as I was out of town in October '10....Larry's legacy is well documented in the obituary and the Guest Book entries but my personal remembrances will always be the Kim-Lar Open golf events. Larry was at his best as the Host Tournament Chairman and it was always 3-4 days of great fun and comaradarie. Condolences to the outstanding family he reared and best wishes to each of you in your continued success as professionals, parents and friends to so many.

What a sorrow and surprise to find Larry's name in PB Co obits... I knew him in the very beginning in the Palm Beach Post adv dept with a lot of other wonderful crazy people like Rowell, Hartwell, Reichert, Wilson and more that are now flooding my mind. Larry was new then, and a gentleman... brilliant, creative, and someone who you could count on for solving the current problems, in spite of the ol' guys. Larry Sartory is someone we all should look up to as a model.

Candy, Wendy, Rick and Mark, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
We loved the Poobah - our neighbor. Every night after dinner, we would await Larry's appearance - popping through the shrubs, Drambuie in hand, to spend an hour sharing his jokes and his thoughts.
After effortlessly solving the problems of the world, and another Drambuie, we would focus on more significant issues - like how to improve our golf games.
Larry's spirit will be ever present in our lives.
Love, Annie and Ross McKersie

Candy, Wendy, Rick and Mark:
It was an honor to know and serve you all and from the very first day, your Dad and I "Just clicked". We enjoyed the laughs and Olga, Naomi and I enjoyed our "Russo's Days" together. Most of all we enjoyed seeing your wife and children ever present at your side for each visit and most if all, we just simply enjoyed Larry. He is somewhere enjoying his favorite gourmet foods-Cheez Whiz and M & M's and he is lifting a glass to all of you, saying "Well done my family: no-one could have done it better, spent more quality time with me, given me so much, loved me so dearly or taken better care of me, than all of you did over the last year. You surrounded me with love, with friends and with the grandchildren, who are my legacy." God Bless You All and please continue to honor Mr. Sartory through your living, and by living your lives to the fullest, just as Larry always did. We are very sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Onori

Words are difficult for one of the few times in my life, as I remember one of the true business leaders of Palm Beach County. Larry not only knew how to motivate those around him to tackle tough issues, he had the ability to follow through on making sure the job was done, correctly.
Larry had a fun side, too. The pranks he played on some of the movers and shakers in the community will live indelibly in the hearts of those he touched.
To Larry's family, my thoughts and prayers reach out to you.
To Larry, take care Poobah!
