She was a past president of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. It was during her Presidency that the Palm Beach County Chapter obtained its national charter. She was also a member of the PEO Sisterhood. Mrs. Deger was the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel Hime. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clarence, five children, David , Anna , John , Jean and Jane , five grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, a sister Hazel Hime Kohl and two nephews.
