Family-Placed Funeral Notice
MARION ELIZABETH FOLEY (nee Broderick) Age 88, of Lake Park, FL passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005 at her residence in Lake Park. Born in Ridgewood, NY, she had been a resident of Lake Park for 21 years, coming from NYC, NY. Mrs. Foley was an Executive Secretary with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company retiring in 1976 after 39 years. Memberships include Columbianettes of Knights of Columbus of Stuart, FL, Coast Guard Reserve, Women of the Moose and Golden Agers of the Moose Auxillary of Lodge 2010, Knights of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, Life Member of American Legion Post # 268 of Riviera Beach, FL, a communicant of St. Clare Catholic Church and a veteran of WW II with the U.S. Coast Guard where she served as Commander. Survivors include her brother, Peter Broderick, Jr. of Tequesta, FL, and his children, Peter Broderick, III, William Broderick and Denise McLaughlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Foley, Esquire on April 22, 1984. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 22, 2005 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL with Fr. William O'Shea officiating.
