Highland Beach - Mark E. August 20, 2021, of Highland Beach, FL, at age 69. Beloved husband of the late Sharon A. (nee White) Hamister; devoted father of Daniel (Angela) and Kathryn Hamister; son of Jane and the late George Hamister; four grandchildren, dear brother of Robert (Lynn) Hamister, Brian (Nancy) Hamister and the late William J. Hamister; son-in-law of the late Rose and the late Al White; brother-in-law of Thomas (Sandy) White, MD and John White, Mary (Jeffrey, Esq.) Buckley, Esq., Deborah (Richard) Rosenberry and Brenda White. The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd). As per the family request, all those attending must wear face coverings. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at Calvary Episcopal Church, 20 Milton St., Williamsville. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mark's name to Shea's Buffalo Theatre, 650 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14202 or the Buffalo Seminary, 205 Bidwell Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14222. I was shocked and sad to hear of the passing of Mark. While I only know him for a few years he is someone I will remember for a life time. He was one of a kind and will hold a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences to his children and grand children who he deeply loved and spoke about all the time. May his memory be a blessing.

Dear Dan, Katie & Families,
Our most heartfelt condolences for the loss of your dearly beloved father, Mark. Many of us overlook the presence of our fathers thinking they will be there forever, and then without warning, they are gone. Fortunately, we have many great memories keeping them ever alive in our minds and hearts. I often get a chuckle thinking back to a project I completed for the family in Canada. I gave Mark the final invoice and because I hadn't billed during the project it was fairly substantial. It was then I noticed that it actually made "Mark Hamister" flinch for a second, but only for a second. What a fair, decisive, and utterly pleasant individual to work with.
Please know that your loss deeply saddens us; may our prayers guide his soul to our heavenly Father, and may our Lord bless and comfort you all during this time of grief.

Family of Mark Hamister, I'm so sorry for the tremendous loss you must feel. May your good memories sustain you.
Though Mark and I knew each other only through business, and a long time ago, he provided one of my most cherished memories. As a young professional, he invited me to a wonderful party on his yacht at which he couldn't have been kinder though surrounded by Buffalo's elite. I jumped at the offer to go waterskiing off the yacht, an offer I thought many would accept; however, I was the only one. Upon my return, Mark remarked what a wonderful spirit I exhibited and that he was proud of our business relationship. I was always grateful and would remind him over the years, whenever our paths crossed, of that sincere memory.
