Ronald Kotick
Palm Springs - Ronald Kotick, 89 years old, of Palm Springs, FL, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021. Born in Brooklyn, New York "Ron" moved to West Palm Beach during his elementary school years. He attended Palm Beach High School, Class of 1950, where he met the love of his life, Rosalyn "Roddy" Moss. They married in 1952 and shared 65 years of happiness together until she passed in 2017. After graduating Florida State University Ron served in the US Army Signal Corps during the Korean War. Ron was an Enrolled Agent at H&R Block for most of his career. Prior to that he was active in his family business, Kays Specialties of West Palm Beach. He was also an active member at Temple Beth El in West Palm Beach for many years. Ron is survived by his son, David Kotick (Barbara); his daughter, Rhonda Kotick (Alan Leibowitz); grandchildren, James (Glennys) and Jennifer Kotick and Joshua and Adam (Cassie) Leibowitz; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Due to COVID restrictions a private graveside ceremony will be held for immediate family only at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Hadassah, https://www.hadassah.org/donate.
