KLAINE, Mark Anthony
Mark Anthony Klaine of Palm Beach passed away peacefully on March 28, 2017. He was born November 9, 1948 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Olive Winn and Harold Klaine. Mr. Klaine was raised in West Palm Beach, Florida. He attended Saint Juliana School, Cardinal Newman High School, and later graduated from the University of Detroit. Mr. Klaine practiced commercial real estate for over 35 years in South Florida, and in 1992, he founded Business Real Estate Inc. Mark selflessly devoted his life to his family, and he sought to instill in his children a zest for life, commitment to family and friends, and a humble appreciation for the world around us. He is survived by his wife Katherine Swindle Klaine, son Warren Winn Klaine, and daughter Katherine Kelly Klaine. He is also survived by his siblings Christine Klaine Hall, John Kent Klaine, Mary Scott Johnson, Gale Eleanor Todd, and Holly Ann Klaine; and many nieces and nephews. Mark's abundant life was celebrated at a private family service officiated by Reverend Monsignor Thomas J. Klinzing at St. Edwards Church. Mark loved the ocean, photography, and exploring the world. His passion for travel was bestowed upon his family through many wondrous adventures on each of the world's seven continents. Mark's fervor and appreciation for the world inspired him to visit over 120 countries. When he wasn't traveling, Mark could often be found reading in the shade of his umbrella on Palm Beach, Florida, boating under the summer sun in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, or walking on the beaches of La Jolla, California. Mark will be remembered for his joyous spirit, kind heart, and enthusiasm for life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church or to the American Heart Association.
