Michael Falkowitz Obituary
Dr. Michael S. Falkowitz of Boca Raton passed away at home, with his family by his side, on April 11, 2021. Michael was born on March 2nd, 1949 in Long Beach, NY to the late Anita and Aaron Falkowitz. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Michael served the Boca Raton community as a pulmonologist for over 35 years. He was beloved by his patients, colleagues', and friends. Michael was an avid gardener, dedicated sport fan, animal lover, and musical theater enthusiast. Michael was also a dedicated supporter of the Boca Hoops basketball program and proud sponsor of the Azmattackers team. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; sister Madeline and brother-in-law Paul; his sons Adam and daughter-in-law Ashley, Oren and daughter-in-law Jessica, and Max; and grandsons Asher and Miles. An outdoor memorial service will be held at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens on Wednesday April 14th 2021 at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Boca Hoops po box 6068, Boca Raton, Fl. 33427.

Michael and I grew up together. We were next door neighbors. Our families we’re close. I am so saddened to lean of his passing. The earth has lost a kind and caring human being. My love and condolences to the family.

I am saddened to hear of Dr. Falkowitz death. I had worked with him at Boca Regional Hospital. He was a caring physician and a strong advocate for nurses. He will be missed. My sympathy to his family, friends, and colleagues.

I was so very sorry to learn of Dr. Falkowitz’s passing!! I worked with Dr. Falkowitz at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. We shared some cases while he was Chairperson of the Ethics Committee there. Dr. Falkowitz was always so kind to staff and, especially, his patients. Not only did he tend to their physical needs but he helped his patients emotionally and spent so much time with each one.
I was also Facebook friends with Dr. Falkowitz and so enjoyed is posts of his family and his gardening accomplishments! He will be greatly missed by all.

Michael was a wonderful person and a very important person in my life, beginning in elementary school. He lived around the corner and we went all through school together, Hebrew School, and his parents and my parents were close family friends. I have happy memories of those times.
I was so saddened to read about his passing and send my condolences to his family. May your memories give you strength at this difficult time.
