Michael Singer Obituary
Michael David Singer, 71, Tequesta, died peacefully September 26, 2020, surrounded by his family in his home. He was born April 21, 1949, in Bridgeport, CT, the son of Sol and Charlotte (Shapiro) Singer. Michael graduated from Andrew Warde High School, Class of 1967. Following graduation he served with the United States Marines. Michael was an upstanding and respected member of his community, a business owner, and a great friend to many. Michael was married to the love of his life Nina Renee (Thomas) Singer and they celebrated 35 years of marriage in May. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his granddaughter Lorelei. Surviving in addition to his wife Nina, children Alicia Singer Mehrer, Michael Singer, Jr. and his wife Olivia, Robert Singer and his wife Julie, Erica Singer, Matthew Singer and Ashley Singer, 12 grandchildren Robert, Olivia, Griffin, Reagan, Layne, Maddox, Jameson, Leighton, Charli, Marlee, Zaidee, and Emma, sister Barbara (Singer) Greene and her husband Ronald of Monroe, CT, their children Brett Greene and Lisa (Greene) Jelliffe and many more nieces and nephews. Family will be gathering in remembrance at Michael's home in Tequesta, FL during the week of September 27 and ask that friends who wish to pay their respects please do so beginning September 28, after 12:00PM.

My Dearest Nina, As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. We are here for you. Through many years and happy times together, moving to Florida and making a wonderful life, raising your awesome children, making lots of close lifelong friends and going on family vacations, these were all accomplished with so much love and it shows in your children who adored the life you and Mike lived together and provided for them. Nina and all of Mike's, I am very sorry that this happened, Mike put up a very courageous fight!, more than many others would have dealt with! I will really miss him, we gad a lot of good times together, and he taught me a lot about the car business, Mike, may you rest in peace now with no more pain!,

Nina and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Michael's passing. Scotty would always tell me what wonderful friends Mike, you and your family were to him. You were more than friends, you were his Florida Family. He loved Mike, you, your children and grandchildren very much, and loved spending time with all of you when he visited. He would tell me all about the great times being in the midst of such a loving family. Nina, I will always remember that you and Mike cut your own vacation short to attend Scotty's service. If he were here today, he would have hopped on a plane to be there and share in your sorrow. On behalf of Scotty, I send his and my deepest sympathy and love to you and your family. I know Mike will be greatly missed, but all the wonderful memories you and your family shared with Mike will live in your hearts forever.

May God Bless Michael on his journey home! My sincere condolence for his family at this time of grieving. Michael was a role model and friend to my husband. I am a witness to the amazing love and admiration he shared with his wife and his family. He always made us feel like family in his company. I always considered Mike one of my close friends and business associates. I worked with Mike for 23 harmonious years. He was a "straight shooter" and an honest person to work with & that is hard to find in the car business. YOU WILL BE FOREVER MISSED. Your friend...

Mike’s Family and Friends sorry to hear this sad news. Met Mike when he was a kid through his Father Sol. Mike followed his Father’s foot steps went in the automobile business in Bridgeport and Florida one of the best car dealers. Mike Rest in Peace a lot of car dealer friends in Heaven
