MORRIS SCHECHTER Schechter, Morris in Sacramento May 11, 2008. Mr. Schechter was born April 15, 1919 in New York City, NY and was 89 years of age at the time of his death. Beloved father of Paul Schechter and his wife Peggy, and Karen Schechter all of Sacramento. Loved grandfather of Elizabeth Schechter of Sacramento. Loving Uncle of Carter Beroza, Robert Beroza, Gary Gabriel, Richard Gabriel, and Stephanie Harper. Preceded in death by his wife Beatrice and his two sisters Rose Beroza and Bertha Schechter. Mr. Schechter was a Certified Public Accountant for 30 years in New York City, retiring in 1986 at which time he and his wife moved to Florida, until 2004 when he moved to Sacramento. Friends are invited to attend Services Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Reichert's Funeral Chapel, 7320 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights, CA. Graveside Services will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Menorah Gardens Memorial Park, 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, FL. He was an avid supporter of and Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to the United Sates Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC or to the Sutter Transplant and Heart Specialty Clinic, 5151 F Street, Sacramento, CA 95819.
