Doug, Tom and Carol, I had the pleasure of working with your mom, Nina, at the JFK Hospital, back in the 1970's, in Atlantis, Florida.

I had transferred to the Surgery Dept from the Emergency Room and Nina was one of many who trained me.  She was professional, respected, but also a lot of fun to work with, no matter how tough our days were.

Nina was positive and encouraging - always a sweetheart!

I realize I'm 15 years late with these words, but did not know of her passing and wanted you to know what a great lady she was to work with and how much I respected her.

I only met Nina 5 months ago but she became a very important part of my life almost immediately. I loved her very much and I think she is one of the bravest people I have ever met. Even when she was not feeling well she had the best disposition, best smile and bluest most beautiful eyes you've ever seen. She always had a good word and compassion for everyone she knew or met. She raised 3 wonderful children and had 4 adoring wonderful granchildren. I shall miss Nina with all my heart and KNOW she is in heaven watching down on us all..love you Nina.
