Family-Placed Funeral Notice

PHILIP M. DUNNE Philip M. Dunne, 77, of Boynton Beach and formerly of New York City passed away on February 20, 2005. Mr. Dunne retired as a District Manager from the New York Telephone Company after 45 years of service. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. Philip moved to Quail Ridge Country Club in 1988 and served on the board of Governors for many years and as a Chairman of the Government Affairs Committee. He enjoyed many years of tennis, socializing with his friends and going to the beach. He is survived by his son, Dana P. (Michele) Dunne of London, England; grandchildren, Sebastien and Eloise Dunne; brother, John (Claire) Dunne of Long Island, NY; sisters, Elizabeth Scharff and Mary Fitzpatrick, both of Boynton Beach, FL; and two nieces and four nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Delray Beach. LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Delray Beach in charge of arrangements.
