It was a long time ago that I spent many hours in French class, but I have so many great memories of "Monsieur"! I kept a list of the amusing things he used to say during class. The list has long since disappeared, but here is a sample: once we were discussing something to do with an historical war and he said, "Ze cannons, zey go POOM POOM!" And when I would say something poorly in French (which was probably often) he would sigh and say dramatically, "Oh, Dah-nah!"
Thank you for the wonderful memories and the exceptional instruction, Monsieur.
My best wishes and sympathy to family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear that Monsieur Vignau had passed. He was a big part of my high school years at St. Andrew's. My condolences to his lovely family.
