R. MILLHOUSE Obituary

MILLHOUSE, R. Cully

For everything you have missed, you have gained something else. And for everything you have gained, you lose something else. It is about your outlook towards life. You can either regret or rejoice. Cully Millhouse, 24 years of age, passed away unexpectedly in Gainesville, Florida, on Monday, December 30, 2013. He was born September 5, 1989, at St. Mary's Hospital, West Palm Beach. Beloved son of Kristine Millhouse of Palm Beach Gardens; his precious girlfriend, Simone Roberts of Gainesville, FL.; his sister, Morgan Millhouse of Arvada, CO. Cully is also survived by his grandfather, Michael Blank, Jr.; his Aunts and Uncles, Deborah (Harry) Winthrop of Newport, R.I., Michael (Kathleen) Blank III of Middletown, R.I., Bruce Blank of Middletown, R.I. Brian (Lisa) Blank of Old Saybrook, CT, and Stephen (Colleen) Blank of Palm Beach Gardens; his father, Richard Millhouse of Williamsburg, VA.; paternal grandmother, Martha Millhouse of Charlotte, NC; Sherri (Doug) Burns and family of Charlotte, NC; Christy (Mark) Delassandro and family of Salem, NH; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Blank, and his Uncle Sean Blank. Cully attended St. Clare Catholic School; Palm Beach Gardens High School, and graduated from University of Florida where he worked as a lab specialist in the Biology Department. In his short lifetime he captured the hearts of all who met him, his epic smile, and personality. He loved his family, friends, sports, and science, and, in his own words, "tried to be everyone's rock". He was truly and amazing person. He was considered family to all and never made an enemy. He always did for others without expecting anything in return. He was a true friend who would always be there for you and would never turn his back on the ones he cared for. He was great with words and filled his room with sayings and poems. He was one of a kind and a rare character. He always had his own way of doing things and there is no word to completely describe his personality other than it is simply...Cully. He made any and every situation a good time, no matter where he was or how boring it could be. He was the life of every party, providing entertainment, food, and tons of laughs for all. There was never a time that the whole group was not laughing at Cully's antics and his hilarious one-liners, all while wearing that famous "up-to-no-good" classic Cully smile. He loved his Broncos, America, and most of all he loved his mother. Never responding to the name Richard, he would ignore one who would address him by this name. He volunteered numerous hours at Palm Beach Dermatology and in high school he played basketball and Lacrosse. He leaves behind an abundance of friends for whom he cherished; he will be sorely missed by them and his UF Biology Department. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2014, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at NORTHWOOD FUNERAL HOME, 5608 Broadway, West Palm Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at St. Clare Catholic Church, North Palm Beach, with Rev. Fr. William D. O'Shea presiding. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations in Cully's name be made to St. Clare Catholic School, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, Fl 33408. Milly, I was so saddened to here of this tragedy from those Florida Crawford's and Herritt's. We haven't crossed paths in a while, but time has no baring on those who can always be called a friend. I know Cully was that same sort of friend to all, especially to my niece Kelsey and their Palm Beach gang. Stay strong Milly--Godspeed! Our Love and thoughts are with all of you. Peter, Kathy and Molly Crawford.

Rest in Peace, Cully. Will miss your beautiful smile and great personality. It was a pleasure knowing you from the time I first saw you at St. Clare Kindergarten at age 5 in Sean's class. While all the kids wore surfer cuts you independently had beautiful long hair. Through the 8 years at St. Clare there were lunch room activities, student of the month breakfasts, Mardi Gras, Halloween parades, class trips, picking up Sean at your house after school where your dear mom would allow you and Sean to master the games Nintendo, Play Station and Game Boy. Birthday parties after birthday parties. I remember the amazing graduation day at St. Clare when I couldn't believe how you and your friends grew so tall and I didn't. Other great memories were all the basketball games at JTAA where you played with Freddie and Sean and Coach, Mr. Fred. Heard you were also great at Lacrosse. Recently you were a Fantasy Football legend always able to predict the outcome so accurately. Most importantly a great friend to all at St. Clare, Palm Beach Gardens High School, and UF and your Fantasy friends! Love and Peace to you and your family.
