Just came across this while hunting down old friends and coworkers. Bob and I worked together for Delta Air Lines in Tampa, Fl. Just a great guy! It was back in the ´80s. He, Pete Pulcini, and I carpooled from the St. Pete/Seminole area across the "Howard Frankenstein Bridge" daily.
Rachelen, so sorry for your loss. We all had some good times in John´s Pass and snow skiing. Had to love Bob´s skis! Looked like something out of the 1940s.
Loved the Guy, one of the best!

Can´t believe it´s 7 years since you passed. We all remember the good times we had together. I finally moved to St. Augustine last June. Getting older lots more aches and pains. You have to take one day at a time. I will always miss our time together all the laughs and craziness I think it was all worth it. Still use the BJ nickname you gave me. Take care Rup.

We´ll another year has gone by since we lost Bob. It´s 4 years and they have sped by like the wind in one of Bob´s sail boats. The world is a different place and people like Bob made it a better place to be. I´m still reminded of his funny crazy personality. I wish we had remained closer over the years and had more time to talk. Anyway I´ll have a cold beer for Bob and toast his memory.

Still a day doesn´t go by that I don´t think of my friend Bob Hut. I´ll see a commercial or a movie where someone makes a funny face or gesture and there he is. All us old timers spent a lot of time together. I remember how Bob , Tony A, Mike and I used to do the crossword puzzle and we laughed when one of us said something silly. And the long stories Bob would tell as we all made believe we were sleeping. The fun we had while at work kept us sane. Even now Bob is keeping me laughing just thinking about our his crazy laughs. Bet he is making someone laugh right now. Never forget you bro.

Can't believe it's one year since Bob has passed on. I know he's looking down on all of us laughing and making fun of us as we run through our lives. He's up there with a beer in hand saying calm down things will be fine. We had a signal we gave each other at the end of every hard day in concourse C. We would stick up a finger which meant just one beer. Of course that turned into 3,4 or 5. He was my best friend in Florida and someone i could count on no matter what. I think of Bob every day and usually smile of laugh. See you someday Rup. BJ. That was a nickname Bob gave me which meant Bob junior.

Rachelen - I'm not sure if you remember me, but I just had to tell you how sorry I am about Bob's passing. He was such a wonderful man and the two of you such a great couple. I know how devastating this must be for you and Alex. I send thoughts and prayers and deepest condolences.

In the short time of 2 years that we knew Bob, it didn't take long to know the kind of man he was. He was a genuine kind and caring man. He was a friend for life, and we were blessed to have known him. We had looked forward to many more years of friendship, but the Lord had different plans. He is now in paradise where we will see him again one day. I'm sure when he was met by our Lord, He indeed said "well done my good and faithful servant". Blessings to all those who were left behind. I met Bob in the early 70's when he was working for Delta in Atlanta. He was a lot of fun to work with and we quickly became friends. He was fun to travel with and interested in many sports. Scuba, Sculling, Skiing and Sailing were just a few of the activities we did together. He was a great story teller and could be very funny when he wanted to be. Bob was always available to lend a hand and help those who knew him. After he moved to Florida, we lost touch over time, but did manage to get together for a couple of boat trips. He and Rache always loved the time they spent on the water with their friends and dogs. It was such a shock to hear that he was no longer a part of this world. He was one of those guys that once you got to know him, you never forgot him. When I think about the times we spent together I have a smile on my face. I miss you Bob.

An amazing story about Bob. We had an old lady passenger very ill screaming out of control and her husband on a flight. The captain would not take her. Bob got her on another flight through ATL to BDL. He went with them helped her husband care for his wife. He didn't get back until that night. Amazing guy with a huge heart. Never wanted any credit for what he did. This is Bob Cinctta it was my flight.

My best memories of Bob were of his ability to endear everyone.
Specifically, he would take little old ladies in wheelchairs at the gate, and with a twinkle in his eye would flirt shamelessly. They would blush and giggle and devour the attention. He had the ability to make everyone he came in contact with feel good. Rachel, Alex and Eric, I'm so very sorry for your loss. It's not the length of life that we remember but the quality of life and Bob lived it well. He will be missed.

What a beautiful service to honor Bob. He was one of the best guys I know. I learned a lot about him last night that I did not know. I am very happy and proud of him. He is the only person I know that could do and say the darnedest things with such a straight face. Anyone who worked with him knows what I'm talking about. I loved Bob for the patient and gentle man he was. He took me under his wing and thought me so much. He taught me how nieve and gullible that I really am. I don't think a day went by that he didn't show me that in one way or another. My prayers are with you, the boys and the rest of the family. May God give you strength to get through this and we will see Bob again. Please keep in touch on a good or bad day. I will always be here to talk or cry with you. I love you both.

Rach..as Bob would always say when talking about you..I spent many a flight hanging out with him,and sometimes for hours on end with flt delays...he would talk of the fun things you and the family would do, or we d laugh about some crazy people we d encounter. He was always so happy and positive. It was truly fun working with him no matter what stresses we were under. I remember seeing him rip off the final paperwork from the printer and literally run to get that plane out on time! Although I haven't seen him in years I have such fond memories of working side by side with him. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and Alex and Eric.

To the Hut family, my condolences and prayers are with you guys. Treasure the moments spent with Bob as he was a great gate agent and showed me a lot he was wonderful to work with and I named him Delta's papichulo gate agent. He will always be in our hearts and yes "hasta luego papichulo. Love Nelly!!!

As believers we know there is a season of life. Sometimes it is just too short. Bob was such a great guy, he could make anyone feel better with his humor and that little twinkle in his eye. Bob used to tease me endlessly because I thought Andrew Dice Clay was funny but raunchy. He would go into the routine and have us all laughing! Great times. I haven't seen Bob in quite some time but often think of the old Delta crew and the fun we had even on bad days at work. He will be missed greatly but there are so many great memories of Bob, he will always remain in our hearts. Rest In Peace old friend.
