MICKLEY, Robert D. Robert D. Mickley "Bob" age 67, died peacefully and surrounded by his family on August 11, 2017 at Haven Hospice in Orange Park, FL. He was born on November 03, 1949 in Warsaw, IN. At a young age, Bob's family moved to Palm Beach County, where he resided until he retired and relocated to Jacksonville, FL in 2015. Bob was not a man of many words, but was full of wit and personality. He loved bringing joy and laughter to his family and friends. Bob was always there for anyone needing a helping hand. He loved his family, friends, and serving his church. Bob was an avid Yankee fan and enjoyed many hours watching them play. Bob is survived by his wife Carolyn, of 42 years; son Mickey (Sherri) Mickley; grandson Gavin Mickley and step-grandchildren Alyssa Freed, Anthony Freed, and Brianna Freed. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Burdett Mickley and his brothers Harold and Max Mickley. A memorial service will be held at New Beginnings Community Church, 8163 SW Citrus Blvd., Palm City, FL 34990, on Saturday, August 26th at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, prior to the service.
