Robert PALAGONIA Obituary
Robert C. Palagonia, 69, of Tequesta, FL, passed away at his home on Monday, July 14, 2014 at 7:40PM. Robert was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up Larchmont, NY. He was a member of St. John and Paul Parrish and attended Chesire Academy for high school, and Pace University. He followed his father, C.T. Palagonia into the chemical industry at Orbis Products. He worked in the flavor and fragrance industry for the next thirty eight (38) years. Within that thirty eight years, he worked for Champon and Co., ICD Chemicals, George Uhe and Co. and finished his career at Sarcom Inc., with his long time friend Stephen Strouse. Robert is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Moody Palagonia, his children Robert Jr., William and wife Talibah, Earlene, Ricky, Sherry and his sister Barbara Palagonia Truesdale. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nailah, Elias and Reese as well as his niece Meredith and nephews Teddy and Scott. He was a member of Turtle Creek Golf Club and was a avid golfer. Robert will be laid to rest on July 30, 2014 at at 11:00AM at St. Judes Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, dad would like donations to the American Cancer Society (North Palm Beach unit).

Sorry we didn't find about Bob's passing until now. Bob and my entire family were best of friends for years. Lost contact some time ago. God Bless to Bob and his family.

Uncle Bob was allways on my mind. He was my dads best friend through out high school and into later life. They fell out of touch in the mid 90's but I allways will love his great smile and jokes. I went to school with his youngest son at Stepinac high school. He was allways a great person. The White family wishes all the best to his family and wishes we could of seen him once more. Bob was always fun to be around.He was a great friend to my wife Sheila for many years. I always loved his stories of China and his adventures of fishing around the Palm Beaches. I wish I could have spent more time with him. My heart goes out to Mary Ellen and the family.
