To the Yerg Family,

Even though they played for Clarkstown North, Sandi was always my children's ideal tennis coach. They truly respected her talented coaching skills, her direct approach, and the respect she had for them as players and as people. We are all deeply saddened by your loss and hope that all of our fond memories of Sandi will bring you some comfort.

With sincerest sympathy,

Dear Dick, Kari, and Roger-
I'm very saddened to hear of Sandi's passing. I've vivid memories of road trips with Sandi to the S. Orange, NJ and Forest Hills tournaments taken during my high school years. During my college years and after, when friends and I would briefly visit home, Sandi would occasionally join the usual band of suspects as we convened at Nyack's most iconic cultural institution (O'Donohue's). She was always delighted to hear our stories and plans. Upon reflection, it's abundantly clear how much she cared about our well being. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Know that there are many people remembering Sandi fondly, all of whom wish you strength and peace.

Yerg Family,

I am very saddened to hear about Sandi's passing. Sandi coached the Ramapo boy's tennis team when I was a player at Clarkstown North. She was such a great coach and person and she often pulled me aside just to chat about life and tennis. She was direct and honest and cared about all of the players, not just the ones on her team. She was the ideal players coach, tough when she needed to be but always with good intentions and a big and kind heart.

Dick, I just wanted to let you know what you of course already know, you had an incredible wife and I'm so sorry for your loss. As a junior high student at Haverstraw, Sandi taught me a love of words that ultimately led me to a love of literature and eventually to a degree in English. To this day, largely because of the discipline your wife instilled, I still look up words I don't know and still do it with her prompting me to do so with her special combination of firmness and humor. She was one of those teachers and people you always remember. I hope you'll always draw solace from knowing that.

My deepest sympathies. Fond memories of Sandi when she was in Haverstraw-Stony Point and the times she visited my mom, Pauline Chapman. Hold onto those memories, and they'll get you through the tough times! Margi Chapman

to the family and loved ones of Mrs Yerg.
I am flooded with wonderful memories of Mrs. Yerg's very special personality as my homeroom teacher the first year of her marriage. My brother had Miss Smith for English class the year before.
May God comfort you all at this very sad time.
