Family-Placed Funeral Notice

VIVIAN C. SHELDON, Sr. 86, of West Palm Beach, died Thursday, August 3, 2006 after an extended illness. Born Vivian Fitzgerald in Amityville, L.I., New York on July 4, 1920, she came to West Palm Beach in 1972. During WW II, Vivian worked as a welder at Grumman Aircraft on the F4F Hellcat. Her husband Arthur J. Sheldon preceded her in death in 1975. Surviving her are a daughter Vivian Sheldon, Jr. (Francisco), a son John “Jack” Sheldon (Rita Alonso), and grandsons Robert Sheldon and Nicholas Uribe. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday August 6, 2006 with a Wake Service at 3:00 P.M. at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33401. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 7, 2006, at St. Juliana Catholic Church, 4500 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, Florida 33405. Interment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
