Dear Sharon and David,
We just wanted to send you and your family our deepest sympathies with the loss of Bill. He is going to be greatly missed by so many people. I always enjoyed talking with him and his way of making everything fun. He always had a happy disposition no matter what was going on or how crazy things got! If there was an issue that needed to be addressed or something that needed done he would roll his eyes, throw up his arms, laugh and say well I better go help with this! He was a great man , the type the world needs a lot more of. You are in our thoughts and prayers and may God grant you everything you need, to help during this very difficult time. Our love, The Brandts. (Former Wayne Newton Show member)

Sharon and David, Remember the wonderful red barn that Bill made for a prize for one of the Wayniac Weeks?? Beanie Babies sticking out the windows? And it all came apart so you could take it on the plane?? We still think each time we look at it what a creative man he was! We know it's been a long trial and pray that the Lord continue to give you strength and comfort and hold you in his arms as you face these next days.

To Sharon, David, and Family,
There are no words to comfort one when your heart is ripped from you chest, your body aches for just one more touch, and your soul cries in agony for it's mate. No Words-and yet, one only has to look out at the skies above, the wonders of nature around, the stars in full brightness-to know that there is someone much greater than us, who calls our loved ones home, to be with Him. Bill is looking down at you, wanting you to be at peace, and knowing how very much he was loved. My prayer for you is that you will be able to remember all those special times together, the times you shared as lovers, friends, parents, and grandparents. Remember that beautiful man that you loved for so long, and know that God now has him cuddled in his loving arms. Anyone who knew Bill was truly blessed. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sharon and David,
Though we did not know Bill personally, we knew you all as a family. The love and closeness came through even to stranger's. You all have been in our prayer's since we first heard and remain there. I believe that his mission now is to watch over you in a way he could not have done on this earth. It will be sad not to see his smiling face at the WNIFC doings, but I'm sure he will be there. God ease your pain and bless his soul.

Sharon and David,

You are family and have been from the beginning of our friendship many moons ago. Bill was special to us all and what you shared was felt by deeply through visits to your home and other parts of the USA where we gathered to enjoy each other's company, love and caring. Prayers are with you each day and angels watch over you and have taken Bill into their realm for God's comforting grace.

Know you are loved by the entire VanNostrand family; and especially by me.

Words are so inadequate to express the sadness we feel for both you and David. Bill was a special kind of man, very caring, very accepting and supportive of his entire family - that was obvious to anyone that knew him. I know that he will be sorely missed by all - but most of all by Sharon. You will always feel the loss of him in your heart, but in time you will embrace all the memories that you made together and those memories will fill your heart with warmth and give you strength. Joe and I wish we could be there for you at the memorial service - just know we are there in our thoughts and prayers.

Sharon and David – May God bless you both and give you strength
through your loss. I have only known the McConnell family for
about 25 years. I immediately saw the closeness that the three of you shared and I saw it filled with “lots of love and laughter” and most of all a positive attitude for life. It was nice to be around Bill and Sharon because their “love for each was always shinning”. My prayers and thoughts will be with you on the 26th. Louise Gibbon (Houston, TX)

Bill left this world far to soon, he was my life and a good friend to all who knew him. God must have needed him more than our family and I truly know he is out of pain. I wish I could have done more to help him. I hope those who knew him will attend his memorial on Sat. the 26. I know he never read the obits as he always was afraid him name would be there...love Sharon

Sharon and Family,
We were deeply sorry to learn of Bill's passing. We considered him a friend and a business colleage. He was always available when we need his expertise on all our A/C problems as well as a very dependable neighbor. Our heart felt sympathy goes our to each of his love ones.

Pat Boggiano

January 13, 2008

Words are almost too hard to find. Bill was my neighbor for 20 years. He would always be there to help in any way he could. He was the kindest, most honest and sincere person anyone could ever meet. Nothing was to much for Bill to handle. His favorite expression was "I can do it". I know he will live in the hearts of everyone who knew Bill. To Sharon - you were truly "The wind beneath his wings". Special prayers for you and yours to help get you through each day.
