Bobbie Rae Duggan Seaman

BOBBIE RAE DUGGAN SEAMAN Bobbie Rae Duggan Seaman, 92, passed away August 3rd, 2025, at Lakewell Court Assisted Living Facility in Mineral Wells, Texas. She was born January 11th, 1933, in Seymour, Texas, the daughter of Coleman and Elsie Duggan. She graduated as the valedictorian from Seymour High School in 1950. She was married to Clyde Seaman on March 23rd, 1951, in Seymour - her husband of over 67 years. Bobbie went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in English and subsequently a Master's Degree in Spanish from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas. This was followed by a long career as a public school teacher in various High Schools and Junior High Schools across Texas. Later in her career, she earned a Master's in Library Science and subsequently served as Librarian with the Castleberry ISD in Fort Worth, Texas. Most importantly, as a devout Christian throughout her life, she was a devoted wife and wonderful mother of two sons, three grandsons, and 5 great-grandchildren. She was also a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Willow Park and later Indian Creek Baptist Church (ICBC) in Mineral Wells, where she participated in and/or led numerous ladies' Bible Studies in both churches. She also served as the ICBC Librarian for a number of years. Services will be at 3 PM Sunday, August 17th, 2025, at Indian Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery. Lunch will be provided for immediate family members at ICBC from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM prior to the service. Bobbie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Jan Seaman of Mineral Wells, her three grandsons and spouses: Jonathan and Brooke Seaman of Mineral Wells, David and Sarah Seaman of Willow Park Texas, Jared and Allie Seaman of Waynesville, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Maci Sapien, Micah Seaman, Eleanor Seaman, Emma Seaman, Sydney Seaman; nieces/nephews: Donna Winrich, Molly and Nancy Duggan, Barry, Brent, and Brian Seaman. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Seaman; son, Terry Seaman; parents; brother, Donald Duggan; sister-in-law, Leita Duggan; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Seaman.
