A Life Well Lived

Arthur was born on February 8, 1964, in Blythe, CA, to the late Peter and Mary Helen Guilin. He graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1982. Arthur was a devoted father to Daniel, Brandon, Kimberly, Dillon and Calvin Guilin, and surrogate stepfather to Michael Carlton. His greatest joy came from being a Tata to his beloved grandchildren: Leila, Jayden, Viviana, Serenity, Braxton, Ashton, Cheylyn, Jessielyn, and Kohan.

A Kind Soul with a Sense of Humor

Arthur was known for his kindness, passion, and sense of humor. He enjoyed watching his favorite shows, including Charmed, Hell's Kitchen, and House, as well as staying informed by watching CNN. Arthur loved Rock music, with bands like Korn and Ozzy Osbourne being among his favorites. His love for music even led him to hitchhike home from a concert!

A Culinary Artist and Family Man

Arthur was a talented cook, creating meals for all the family gatherings that brought so much pleasure to everyone. The time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, brought him immense happiness. From cooking meals to attending soccer games, Arthur was actively involved in their lives, creating cherished memories that will live on forever.

I can't believe you are gone Our hearts are broken and life will never be the same without you a part of it. We are going to miss your million dollar smile, your funny and animated sense of humor, our inside jokes. We shared a lot of laughs. Heck, we shared a lifetime together. We raised six kids and have been blessed with grandkids to boot. Arthur was always the most comfortable cooking, feeding, and making everyone else, family, friends, and strangers feel welcome and at home. He was very giving. He loved to talk politics but couldn't handle someone disagreeing with him. That would get you blocked. Lol He was a huge Raiders fan, Rock Lobster would get him dancing, he loved cooking, and rock n roll. He loved the family pets and he loved his children. My heart is filled with the best memories and all the good times we had and shared. Sincerely, Angela
