Bill Joe Norfleet

Sept. 15, 1962 - Feb. 5, 2024

NORMAL - Bill Joe Norfleet, 61, of Normal, passed away Monday, February 5, 2024, at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Normal.

There will be a visitation from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Friday, February 9, 2024, at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington.

Bill was born September 15, 1962, in Bloomington to Lee and Sandra Jean Edwards Norfleet. He married Belinda "Linda" Kaufman on March 14, 1987, in Bloomington. She survives. He is also survived by two children: Jack (Angie) Anderson of Stanford, Jamie (Sarah Paduano) Anderson of Normal; three grandchildren: Jessica (Anthony Gentry) Anderson, Adrian Anderson, Jasmine Green; and three great-grandchildren: Jace, Waylon, and River. Also surviving is his sister, Kathy (Boomer) Sekiguchi of Seymour, IN.

Bill was a Carpenter for Illinois State University for more than fifteen years. He retired in 2018. He was an avid sports fan. He especially loved the Chicago Cubs, Miami Dolphins, fishing, and anything to do with horse racing.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mennonite School of Nursing.
