Bonnie Jene Coffer

March 12, 1933 - May 4, 2025

BLOOMINGTON/NORMAL - Bonnie Jene Coffer, 92, long-time resident of Bloomington-Normal, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025. Born March 12, 1933, in Fort Wayne, Ind. She was the beloved daughter of the late Leslie Raymond and Margaret Ellen Lee. Bonnie was the loving mother of Caryn Chrisman, Curtis (Bonnie) Coffer and Sarah Coffer; cherished grandmother of Sean (Melissa Wilke) Coffer and Melissa (Elijah) Ragland; great-grandmother of Evelyn Ragland and Warren Coffer; and dear sister of the late Samuel Keith Lee and the late Roberta Joanne Young. Bonnie retired from Sears Roebuck and Company in Bloomington and went on to have a 15-year career as the financial coordinator at First Presbyterian Church in Normal where she was a member.

A memorial service will be held May 30, 2025, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 2000 E. College Ave., Normal, Ill. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind (www.guidingeyes.org) in Bonnie's memory.
