Bruce Alan Radcliff, age 65, of Danvers, Ill., passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Bruce was born on June 27, 1960, in Bloomington, Ill., to Richard and Margaret "Peggy" Mattingly Radcliff. He married Jeanette McGlawn on April 23, 1988, in Funks Grove, McLean, Ill.
Jeanette survives him, along with his loving family who cherished him deeply.
Bruce is also survived by his father, Richard (Mary) Radcliff of Bloomington; two devoted children, Brent Alan (Cora) Radcliff of Bloomington and Kayla (Adrian) Radcliff of Downs; two cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Zander of Downs; brother, Richard Radcliff of Danvers; sister, April Kagel of Bloomington; and many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember his kindness and warmth.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy; his sister, Brenda; and his nephew, Michael.
For many years, Bruce dedicated his career to the Maintenance Department for District 87. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, He loved gardening, fishing, camping, and especially spending quality time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the Otto-Argo-Calvert Memorial Home in Danvers, Ill. His funeral service will follow at 1 p.m., with Rev. Nicholas Jackson officiating. Bruce will be laid to rest at Stouts Grove Cemetery in Danvers.
The family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Bruce's generous spirit.
