March 25, 1939 - August 3, 2025
Gordon Terrell "Terry" Pitcock, 86, of San Antonio, Texas, and formerly of Fairbury, Illinois, passed away on August 3, 2025.
Terry was born in Glasgow, Kentucky, to Aelic and Georgia (Houchins) Pitcock. Following his honorable discharge from military service in 1963, he enjoyed a 32-year career with Country Companies in Bloomington, Illinois.
On January 3, 1964, he married Linda Ross, and together they raised three children: Sue Moffett of San Antonio, TX; Gordon Pitcock Jr. of Live Oak, TX; and Corbitt Pitcock (Melissa) of Wylie, TX. He was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda; his sister, Nancy Ifft; and his grandson, Kyle Moffett.
Terry chose cremation, and his ashes will be placed in a salt urn and interred in the ocean, with his beloved wife Linda and grandson Kyle, near the shores of Mustang Island in the Gulf.

It was an honor to know Terry. He always made me laugh. We often visited when he took a break from delivering candy. We had much in common & enjoyed chatting. He loved to talk about you.
I miss him so much, as do all the residents at Solea. We send our heartfelt condolences & pray for you.

I thought of Terry & Nancy as a brother & sister our parents grew up together as we kids did also! When I think of Terry? He was always happy & jovial with a smile on his face. He was just a good person! The Lord has called him home & he will be missed by all his friends & family! Terry, we love you, Jim & Ginny Moon

We are saddened to learn of Gordon's [ Terry to us] passing. Terry and I {Gene} were close neighbors during our middle grade school years. Most non school days were spent on our farm doing the usual activities for that time of life, playing ball, riding bikes, sighting in our Red Ryder BB guns, and helping with farm duties. Even though adulthood duties and residence locations prevented seeing each other often, we could both recall those [good old days] as we reconnected during the past couple of years. Our condolence to the family.
