James "Jimmy" R. Carrell

April 5, 1936 - Jan. 24, 2024

ARROWSMITH - James "Jimmy" R. Carrell, 87, of Arrowsmith, passed away January 24, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Jim was born to Norman and Frances Finnegan Carrell on April 5, 1936. He married Sharon E. Roberts on October 12, 1957.

He is Survived by his wife, Sharon; daughters: Diana (Randy) Stauffer, Janice Durflinger, Jane (Rick) Tjarks; many beloved grand and great-grandchildren; sisters: Audrey (John) Busick, Jodi (Robert) Stuart, Jena (Lonnie) Hixson; many special brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded to Heaven by his son, Danny; son-in-law, Don D. Durflinger; parents; stepmom, Barbara; sister Linda Garrett; and brothers: Steve and Roy.

Jim was a "retired" welder, plumber/pipefitter and "Jack of All Trades." He was a Faithful Servant of God as a member of the SCC., serving many years as an Elder.

He so loved all his Family, friends and all he met.
