James "Jim" Steimle

BLOOMINGTON - James "Jim" Steimle, 59, of Bloomington, passed away at 5:05 AM Friday September 6, 2024, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House in Peoria.
There will be a graveside service Monday September 9, 2024, at 11:30 AM at Stouts Grove Cemetery in Danvers. Reverend Josh Beutow will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Monday at Otto Argo Calvert Funeral Home in Danvers.
Jim was born in Salem, IL, on November 5, 1964, to James and Sondra Burke Steimle.
His father James Steimle preceded him in death as well as his brother Brent Steimle and sister-in-law Tami Brown.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Feasle; his sisters, Denise Brown of San Antonio, TX, Jodi (Dave) Robbins of Mackinaw, Lori (David) Borries of Bloomington, Kim Brown of Detroit, MI, Jamie Cook of Danvers, Rhonda (John) Kelso of Twin Rivers, WI, Sherry Ragland of Tennessee and his brother Mike Brown of Danvers.
Jim was a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and discussing automobiles.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation.
