November 24, 1981 - February 3, 2025
Julie Marie Pascal age 43 of Peoria IL, formerly of Bloomington passed away at 7:36 AM on Monday, February 3, 2025, at her residence. Visitation will be 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Her funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL.
Rev. Mike Baker will be officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society or the Ark of Lacon, IL.
Julie was born November 24, 1981 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of David Peter and Glenda "Sue" Pascal. She married Benjamin Goodin he survives.
Also surviving are her parents, David and Sue Pascal, Bloomington IL, 2 brothers, Kevin (Summer) Pascal, Peoria Heights, IL, Jason (Danielle) Pascal , Bloomington, IL,
2 nieces, Kaylynn and Ashtyn, 2 nephews, Parker and Maddox,
mother-in-law, Sheila (Steve) Vincent, Mt. Vernon, IN, 3 aunts, 1 uncle and several cousins and her 2 dogs, Hazel and Ella.
Julie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley & Peter Pascal, Vic and Janet Colby and her aunt Marie Pascal.
Julie was a graduate of Illinois State University, Normal IL She was a teacher for the Heyworth School District prior to her illness. Her dogs and students were her joy. Julie had love for everyone, but especially outsiders and loners, and would fight for anyone who was suffering. Julie fought her own long and courageous battle with cancer.
