BLOOMINGTON - Justin Micheal Gesty, age 41, of Bloomington, IL, passed away at 7:03 AM on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at his residence.
His funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2024, at Beck Memorial Home 209 E. Grove St., Bloomington, IL. Bishop R.J. Rowley will be officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2024, at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington, IL.
Justin was born June 5, 1982, in Bloomington, IL, the son of, father, Michael Gesty and, mother, Kristi Lorch. He married Tiffany R. Schmidt on September 19, 2019, in LeRoy, IL. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, Kristi Mullins, Bloomington, IL; biological father, Michael Gesty, Tucson, AZ; step mother, Denise Gesty, Tucson, AZ; adopted father, Mitchell Mullins, Knoxville, TN; one daughter, Kylie Hundman, Bloomington, IL; three brothers: Nicholas (Carrie) Mullins, Normal, IL, Alexander (Laura Severs) Mullins, Champaign, IL, Jacob Mullins, Bloomington, IL; maternal grandparents, Eugene and Melody Lorch, Bloomington, IL; father in-law, Jasper (Michelle) Schmidt, Harristown, IL; mother-in-law, Hazel Boyd, Bartonville, IL; and his sister-in-law, Kendra Boyd, Metamora, IL.
Justin is preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Gesty who passed away in 2019.
Justin had been working at Summers Plumbing, Bloomington, IL. He was hardheaded, a tough guy, but a real softy at heart. He was an extremely talented plumber and a loving son, brother, husband, grandson, and nephew. He had a contagious smile and a true heart of gold. His eyes always twinkled. He will be missed so, so much.
