BLOOMINGTON - Kay "Pinky" Edwards, 78, of Bloomington, passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.

She was born July 30, 1947 in Bloomington, the daughter of Wilfred H. and Thelma V. (McAnelly) Singley. Her parents and a nephew, Jason Singley, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her sister, Lesley (Ron) Richmond of Bloomington; brother, Brayn Singley of Bloomington; niece, Bree Singley; great-niece, Kyaja Singley; nephew, Kamron Singley; and great-great nephew, Niko Singley.

Pinky was born and raised in Bloomington and was a graduate of Normal Community High School. She worked for many years in the optical industry. She loved horses and dogs. In her memory, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Central Illinois.
