Leesburg, FL – , Age 75, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at his home in Leesburg, Florida. He was formerly of Lexington, IL. Bob graduated from Lexington High School in 1968 and from Illinois State University in 1972 followed by some graduate studies at Old Dominion University. From there, he transferred to Franklin, Virginia and continued his 42-year career at International Paper in Purchasing Management finishing in Georgetown, South Carolina. Bob always loved history and seeing this great country. He did tents and Pop-Up Campers from the early 1970's until he purchased the first of five Winnebago Motor Homes from 1983 until 2022. In 2021 a year before he lost Lynn, they completed the last three states on their RVing Bucket List, staying in all 48 of the Continental U.S. States. He so enjoyed the history and sites of this country and most of all sharing the experiences with Lynn. He would tell you he also enjoyed seeing his first cousins during these trips, the guys and gals he grew up with in Lexington, Illinois, meeting so many wonderful people in these travels, and that he really was very fortunate to have lived the retired life that he was able to. Being away so long, Bob asked for simple interment at the Lexington Cemetery next to his "Dear Lynn."
