BLOOMINGTON - Robert D. "Bob" Reeser, 88, of Bloomington, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home in Bloomington. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the memorial home. Interment will follow services at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Bloomington.
Memorial contributions may be left to the American Heart Association - Illinois or the American Kidney Fund.
Bob was born on May 31, 1936, in Bloomington, a son to Jake and Lorene (Stahly) Reeser. He grew up on the family farm in South Bloomington. Bob worked for many years at Eureka Williams. He loved his trips to Arizona and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune. He had a passion for farming, working in the yard, mowing, and would always be there to help anyone in need.
Bob is survived by his wife, Evelyn Reeser of Bloomington; daughter, Pam Eckhardt of Foley, AL; grandsons: David Eckhardt and Mike (Queenie Rose) Eckhardt, both of Bloomington; siblings: Larry (Louise) Reeser of Heyworth and Pat (Rick) Burns of Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two infant sisters, and two brothers.
