Theresa Ann Erikson
Dec. 16, 1949 - Dec. 20, 2023
SAINT JOSEPH, Michigan - Theresa Ann Erikson (Terri, Rupie, Roop, GramE) passed away surrounded by family in the comfort of her home. She was an amazing wife, mom, daughter, sister and "GramE" that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. Her soul surrounds us and memories of her life and limitless, unselfish love will always comfort us.
Terri is survived by her husband of 53 years, Craig Erikson; her three sons: Craig (Scott), Jason (his wife Jami), and John (his wife Chelsea). What made her the most happy was her grandchildren. She was blessed with five grandsons: Nathan Todd, Tyler Joseph, Stone Calvillo, Nash Calvillo, Hayes Calvillo; and three step/grandchildren: Robert (Bobby), Willow and Blue. Terri is one of eight children (#4) born to George and Marijane Cushing in Bloomington, IL. Siblings are Sara (Sally), George, Bob, Mary Clare, Raymond (predeceased), Carol and Clyde (Tony).
Some of Terri's favorite memories were times spent as a young family on long summer weekends at Grand Valley Marina. The summer vacations in Leland, Washington Island, Petosky, Saugatuck, Beaver Island, Mackinac Island, Charlevoix, etc. with all her boating friends made for some wonderful memories. She enjoyed working in her "garden" consisting of nearly 100 flower pots surrounding her home, her cooking skills were unmatched. Above all else, her connected-ness to her family was her foundation.
A celebration of life for friends and family to follow at a later date in the spring/early summer of 2024. Arrangements entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, MI.

I want to express my deepest condolences on the loss of both Terri and Craig. I had the opportunity to visit with them at every Pizza Hut function for the past 27 years. Terri was always so kind and warm and generous. I can only imagine how she will be missed by her loved ones. May you be comforted by your memories.
