Thomas Bohlmann Obituary
October 27, 1953 - June 3, 2025
Thomas Bohlmann, 71, of Danvers, Ill., passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2025.
He was born on October 27, 1953, in Watseka, Ill. He grew up in Milford, Ill., and later relocated to Danvers in 1971.
Tom married the love of his life, Maribeth (Shellhaas) on May 26, 1972, and together they spent 53 years sharing in life's joy from two daughters, two son-in laws, and three grandsons. He spent over 20 years as a respected mortgage loan officer at Flanagan State Bank, the Bank of Chatsworth and National City and was known for his dedication to clients and community. Tom loved golfing, restoring muscle cars, trips to Arizona and Vegas and cherishing time with his grandsons. Most weekends he could be found on a field at a sporting event cheering them on.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Jeannette Bohlmann. He is survived by his wife, Maribeth; children: Heather Williams (Darren) and Mandy Chadwick (Kevin); and his three grandsons: Ethan, Caden and Quinn.
Tom will be remembered for his big heart, kindness, unwavering integrity, and love for his family. He was a gift to everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Siteman Cancer Center (Barnes Jewish Hospital), where Tom was treated with grace and hope.
A visitation is planned at Calvert & Metzler in Bloomington from 4 to 7 p.m. on June 9th, and memorial service on June 10th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery, Danvers.

I met Tom when I lived in Danvers. I worked with Tom's father at the school as part time janitor and that is how we met. Just a nice easy going fellow. May the Lord comfort your hearts. Tom Bill

My Thoughts and Prayers are with you and your family. I worked with Tom at Banc Financial years ago. He was a wonderful man to work with. I remember everyday when we got to work we done cross word puzzles with Brad . Myself and Tom would try our best to beat him. We never could beat him but it was fun. I´m saddened to hear he had passed . I greatly admired him.
