So sad to hear of this huge Atlanta loss. The Seymour family is on my heart and surely they know how he changed many lives with his musical gifts and talents as a teacher not just music but how he lived life. Curious, always learning and smiling, family man, humble, reverent and could speak to any topic with again that smile. I as with all my siblings owe him untold credit for helping us all (5 kids) find, learn, perform and chase the joy and or career of music. I made it a habit, long ago of thanking God for the gift of my music teachers silently before I step on stage, then before I take that first breath to play I know that some how their spirit will carry on in the music. Mr. Seymour Thank you for being YOU and for helping me start my journey in life as a performer and teacher. Few people have what you had and for that I am forever grateful and humbled. Always, Phillip Todd Hardin Redwing Grad 1976. Miss you! Thanks again!

Thanks for the music memories! The trips to Chicago in the band; the marching band and your kindness as a teacher! You were the leader of the Band!
