Barbara Golithon Obituary

A memorial service is planned for Barbara Golithon who died on August 3, 2013 just 4 months after her husband Tom passed away. Those with memories to share will meet at Almaden park in San Jose, CA on October 8, at 6:00 p.m. (Contact Betty Brinck at 831-335-7044 for information) Barbara was born on July 25, 1943 in Massachusetts and moved with the family to CA in 1958. She attended high school and junior college near San Jose, then worked for Lockheed Missile and Space Company. Before moving to Paradise, Barbara and Tom lived in Fremont and Lancaster, CA. While living in Paradise, Barbara trained to work in the medical field and had several positions in Paradise and Chico. Barbara enjoyed her country home and liked to sit on the front porch and visit with neighbors and friends. She was a great help to her handicapped sister who lived nearby. Barbara was fun to be around, liked to laugh and she was very generous. She will be greatly missed by her surviving sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews, step daughter and step grandkids and all who knew her.
