Thomas Golithon Obituary
Tom was born in Jackson County, Oregon on December 7, 1924, to Thomas and Ella Golithon.
Tom graduated from Hayward High School in California and joined the Air Force in 1943, where he trained as an electronic technician, draftsman, and technical illustrator. Upon discharge from service, Tom was married and had two children. Tom worked for ten years as a TV repairman when TVs still had tubes. Tom was employed with Lockheed Missile and Space Company for a number of years as an electronic technician supervisor in research and development.
He married Barbara Mulieri in 1966 and they relocated to Paradise, California in the mid 1970's. Tom worked for Rexnord in Chico, CA for a few years and then retired. He enjoyed working "outside" around their home and always had new projects. He and his wife, Barbara often camped at their favorite spot in Oregon. Tom also enjoyed fishing with his friend and neighbor, Roger. Tom was well thought of by family, neighbors, and friends. He was always there to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Golithon; daughter, Jeanette Bist of Chico; son, Brad Golithon (deceased); grandchildren, Todd Bist of Hansville, WA, Mike Golithon of Huntington Beach, CA, Jeff Bist of Wallace, CA, Sean and Adam Golithon of Orlando, FL, Alisha Ready of Auburn, CA; and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 19, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Northern California Veteran's Cemetery in Igo. Share your thoughts online at nbcfh.com

I didn't really know Grandpa Tom or Grandma Barbra. They were always so kind to Sean and I, but we lived so far away. I will forever regret not trying harder to forge a bond with them as I got older. If I could do this whole thing over I would... I say almost every day.
