John Heinke Obituary

John E. Heinke, age 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior after a short battle with cancer on Friday, November 20, 2009, in Paradise, CA. He was born on July 5, 1933 in Paradise, CA to Carl and Agusta Heinke. He grew up on the family farm where he and his brother operated Heinke Fruit Juices. They also farmed Kiwi and Concord Grapes. He was on the board of directors of PID since 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Heinke; brother and sister-in-law, David and Joan Heinke; three sons, Randy, Joel, and Lonnie; four step-children, Linda, William, Stephanie, and Steve; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Neighborhood Church, 2801 Notre Dame Blvd, Chico, CA. View obituary and send condolences online at www.NBCFH.com.

I enjoyed our spur of the moment conversations with John at the plant. He provided much insight and wisdom. We talked spiritual things/water/politics, etc. I am glad to have had the privilage to know such a Godly man who walked the talk. He will be greatly missed.
