Charles Roberts Obituary

Charles Kenneth Roberts, 86, of Paragould, passed away Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Roberts was born Oct. 18, 1935, in the Burnt Hill community, to Edward and Willie Mae Roberts. Charles enjoyed gardening, fishing, going on daily walks and attending local dances. He retired from Emerson Electric.

Preceding him in death are his parents; wife of 23 years, Betty Roberts; five brothers; three sisters; son-in-law, Larry Flanrey; stepson-in-law, Walter Floyd; and one stepson.

Survivors include daughters, Charlene (Steve) Hall, Debra Flanrey, Marsha Roe, Kellie (Aaron) Sidwell; stepdaughter, Pamela Floyd; stepson, Jimmy (Teresa) McNabb; 31 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and the mother of his four children, Mary Roberts.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, with burial at Browns Chapel. Family will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation precedes the service from 1-2 p.m.
