Tommy Dee Cooper, a husband, father, brother and grandfather, left this world on Oct. 1, 2025, at the age of 77, in his lifelong home of Paragould. He was born on Sept. 21, 1948, and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1966. He started his career at Emerson Electric in 1969 and worked there until his retirement in 2010. A fixture at local flea markets, he spent many weekends making friendships and sharing stories.
Tommy is survived by his wife of 59 years, Deloris Cooper; sons, Michael Cooper (Tammy Burrow) and Jeff Cooper; daughter, Victoria Porter (Harry); grandchildren, Micah Ellis and Cadyn Porter; brothers, Mark Allen Cooper (Tereasa) and Glen Cooper (Lisa); and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester "Jim" and Margree Cooper; sister, Janet Rae Huffine; and granddaughter, Cooper Catherine Porter.
Honoring Tommy's wishes, there will be no service.
