Glenn Lord Obituary
Glenn Lord, 80, passed away on December 31, 2011. He was born on November 17, 1931 to the union of LeRoy and Lurline Lord in Pelican, LA. Glenn served his country dutifully during the Korean War. He retired from Champion Paper. He was also famous in own right as literary agent for Robert E. Howard. He is preceded in death by his parents. Glenn is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lou Ann and son, James Lord and wife Lynn and daughter, Glenda Felkner and husband Andy. He is further survived by four grandchildren, Stephen Cupples, Alan Nabors, Danielle Smith and Ryan Smith. Glenn was a member of Spirit Life Church of God. Visitation will be on Wednesday January 4, 2012 from 5-7 PM. Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 10 am in the Chapel of Rosewood Funeral Home 3939 Pasadena Blvd. Reverend LeRoy Butts will officiate. Final interment will be at Rosewood Memorial Park with honors well deserved. Words of comfort may be shared at www.Rosewood.cc.

Lou Ann, I am so sorry I did not see this obituary until today, because I would have come to Glenn's service. You know I worked with him for so many years at the union hall and thought an awful lot of him. I know you are going to miss him terribly, and I am glad we have God's promise to see him again one day when we are called home. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Pat

Lou Ann, I just saw this obituary today. I am so sad I didn't know about this because I would have come to his service. You know I worked with Glen so long at the Union hall and thought a lot of him. I know you will miss him so very much, and you have to cling to the God's promise that we have of seeing him one day when it is our time to go. He is walking those streets of gold with Jesus now and in great health and a young body. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
