Robert Eric "Bob" Boruk, 75, of Santa Fe, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, from cardiopulmonary arrest. A devoted husband, loving father, and treasured friend, Bob will be remembered for his joyful spirit, humor, and unwavering love for his family.

Born on October 13, 1950, in Pasadena, Texas, to parents Robert Neil Boruk and Melba Joy Hunnicutt whose values shaped his dedication and integrity, Bob graduated from Deer Park High School in 1969. Shortly after, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1973. On August 30, 1974, he married the love of his life, Janis Irene Hall, beginning a union filled with laughter and devotion that would last over five decades.

Bob built a meaningful career in the petrochemical industry, dedicating 30 years before enjoying retirement. He was happiest outdoors-teeing off on the golf course, casting a fishing line, or cheering on his favorite football team. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family. He is survived by his wife Janis, daughters Heather (Mike) of Friendswood, TX, Nicole (Leslie) of Marble Falls, TX, and two granddaughters Bethany Harris of El Paso, TX, Brianna MacDonald, and numerous other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Sagemont Church on Tuesday, January 27th at 3:00 pm. 1950 ~ 2026
